Third-Party App Integration Inquiry – Riftbound Organized Play Platform

Dear Carde.io Support Team,

My name is Austin Pincus, and I am a developer currently building a dedicated mobile application for Riftbound Organized Play, powered by the Carde.io platform.

The application is intended to provide players and Tournament Organizers with a streamlined mobile experience that includes:

• Store and event discovery (leveraging the existing Riftbound locator)
• Player registration and event sign-up
• A waitlist system with automatic promotion logic when players drop
• Live Swiss-round pairings, timers, match result entry, and standings — all mobile-first

I am writing to inquire whether Carde.io offers a public or partner-level API that would allow a third-party application to read and write event, player, and pairing data from the Riftbound Gaming Network. Specifically, I am interested in endpoints related to:

• Event listings and store locations
• Player registration status and roster management
• Round pairings and match results
• Standings and tiebreaker data

I have already been in contact with the UVS Games LGS Support team and am coordinating this inquiry on both fronts to ensure full alignment.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further — whether through a developer agreement, a data partnership, or a sandbox/staging environment for testing purposes. I am happy to provide a full technical specification, a working prototype, or any documentation that would be helpful to your team.

Thank you for building such a capable platform for the tabletop gaming community. I hope this is the beginning of a productive collaboration.

Warm regards,
Austin Pincus

READ (display to users)
• Store listings — name, address, coordinates, hours, and OP status (to power the store locator map)
• Event listings — name, format, date/time, location, entry fee, capacity, and registration status (open/full/closed)
• Player registration roster — which players are registered for a given event (to display capacity and manage waitlists)
• Round pairings — table assignments and player matchups per round (to display to players and TOs on mobile)
• Match results — reported scores per pairing per round
• Standings — player records, match points, and tiebreaker data after each round

WRITE (actions users take in the app)
• Player registration — joining or dropping from an event
• Match result submission — players or TOs reporting game outcomes
• Waitlist management — adding a player to a waitlist and promoting them automatically when a spot opens

How the app uses this data:
The app is a mobile-first companion for both players and Tournament Organizers running official Riftbound Organized Play events. Players use it to find stores, sign up for events, check their pairings between rounds, and report results. TOs use it to manage their roster, pair rounds, track results, and run the full Swiss bracket from their phone — without needing to be at a desktop.

The waitlist + auto-promotion feature is one of the core additions: when a registered player drops, the first person on the waitlist is automatically moved into the event and notified. This is functionality that doesn't currently exist in the Riftbound Gaming Network and would meaningfully reduce TO workload at events.

I want to be transparent: I'm not trying to replicate or compete with Carde.io's platform. The goal is to extend it with a dedicated mobile experience that keeps players and TOs engaged on the day of events, where a browser-based dashboard isn't always the most practical tool.

I'm happy to submit this as a formal feature request through Dashboard 2.0 as you suggested, and I'll follow up with UVS Games in parallel. If there's any internal process for evaluating third-party integration proposals — even informally — I'd welcome the opportunity to walk your team through the full product concept.
