In your judges exam there is a question that says something along the lines of, Player one controls a battlefield with a mountain drake at that battlefield. Player 2 moves Yasuo, Remorseful to the battlefield and traveling merchant. (Traveling Merchant says “When I move discard one draw one”) this triggers as soon as he is moved before combat begins. Yasuo, remorseful attack targets mountain drake witch resolves. Player 1 then plays face breaker to stun mountain drake and Yasuo. Players 2’s hand is empty. How does the combat resolve? In this scenario unless player 2 had played a card during this combat his hand could not be empty because traveling merchant triggers before the combat causing them to draw 1.

Please let me know if I am wrong and if so why. I think i am getting this question wrong on the test.
