Automatic Time Zone Conversion is Inconvenient, and Ireland is in the Wrong Time Zone

I live in Dublin, Ireland. My friends and I decided we wanted to go to a set championship in Belfast, Northern Ireland, last Saturday (a 2.5 hour drive).
The event's page in Playhub told us the event was scheduled to begin at 1pm, but when we arrived at the venue at 12.30pm, we were informed that the event has began half an hour before we arrived. We were confused and frustrated by this, but the Tournament Organiser very kindly allowed us to join the event for the second round with a match loss each.

When I discussed this issue with other players at the event, they showed me that on their devices, the start time was correctly listed as 12pm. This led me to realise that their devices, with accounts located in Northern Ireland, part of the UK, were in the "UTC" time zone, whereas my device, with an account located in Ireland, part of Europe, was in the "GMT+1" time zone, and I subsequently realised that Playhub apparently adjusts the displayed event start time based on the time zone your account is registered to (a fact I verified by observing the same effect on DLC Indiana's "10am Infinity Constructed" event, which told me it began at "3pm GMT+1".)
Playhub automatically converting event times based on timezone is a confusing and frustrating feature, and while I can understand some uses for it, I would prefee if there was a way to turn it off, or if both your time zone and the event organiser's time zone were displayed beside eachother. This being said, Ireland itself is in the incorrect time zone; The Republic of Ireland, though it is in Europe, shares a time with the UK, not with Western Europe. Please adjust Ireland to be in the UTC timezone instead of GMT+1, this mistake caused a lot of unnecessary stress for myself, my friends, and the Tournament Organiser, and I would like to prevent an incident like this happening again in the future.
